How to build products imagery
Product imagery first answers what the object is, how it works and what it is made from. Silhouette, structure, material and contact shadow must stay stable; scene and effects should reinforce rather than obscure the product.Three controls
- Product recognition
- Keep the primary silhouette, operating features and packaging proportions visible.
- Material evidence
- Differentiate glass, metal, fabric and plastic through edges, reflection, roughness and light response.
- Use context
- Let props and environment explain scale, use or audience without creating an unrelated story.

Common questions
Do product prompts need many camera settings?
Usually not. Define viewpoint, lens effect, depth of field and light relationships first; add numbers only when they materially change the result.
How can liquid effects avoid damaging product structure?
Require the complete product to remain visible and define the liquid’s origin, direction, contact point and frozen moment.
